Complete notices are available on the front window at the Township Hall at 2525 Marathon Rd.
All Meetings will be held at the Oregon Township Hall located at 2525 Marathon Rd unless otherwise noted.
These notices are posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2) (3) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Oregon Township Board will provide necessary, reasonable, auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon 15 days notice to the Oregon Township Board. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Oregon Township Board by writing or calling the following: Michelle Osip, Clerk, 2525 Marathon Road, Lapeer, MI 48446. **All removable grave decorations must be removed by Wednesday, April 1, 2026 for the purpose of cleaning and preparing the cemetery for Memorial Day. After May 1, 2026, new decorations may be placed back on the graves.
*Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled for the month of May due to nothing on the agenda.

Fire Protection Special Assessment
With the implementation of the Fire Protection Special Assessment, effective July 1, 2010, any residents who carry a “rider” for additional fire-run coverage on their standard homeowner’s insurance policy, may contact their insurance carrier to discuss the removal of the “rider”.
Lapeer Community Center
The interlocal agreement has resulted in a special benefit for the Township Residents. Township residents are entitled to receive the City of Lapeer rate for an Annual Pass (no other benefit applies). Anyone interested in an Annual Pass should contact the Community Center with questions at 664-4431, Monday -Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
